iPhone came with the bug of breaking your wifi Functionality

Descriptions

The bug came into the light when the security researcher Carl Schou discovered that after joining a Wi-FI network name “%p%s%s%s%s%n” his iPhone’s Wifi functionality was left “permanently disabled”. The problem is persistent even after the device is rebooted. Several users have also reported the same bug after they had replicated the process as mention by Carl.

It is speculated that the bug could be related to using of percentage sign “%”. As the iOS could mistakenly interpret the letters following the percentage sign as a string-format specifier. The string-format specifier has a certain meaning where a language compiler parsed the sign as a variable name or a command instead of recognizing it as a standard text.

However, luckily the “permanently disabled” state can be recovered. In order to reset the device, the user can to go the Reset option from the General section and then choose Reset Network Settings and confirm the request at the prompt.
